St. Barth's was a blast

We are back safe and sound from the great trip to St. Barth. Yup, we really went! I always wanted to go ... so that is just one more thing crossed off the "gotta do" list. Actually, once we crossed it off - we put is right back on as "gotta go again".

All vacations require finding a good cup of coffee served with a smile, great swimming and beaches during the day, and a knock out restaurant for dinner. This trip had it all and then some.

Beaches were beautiful. Here are some shots of Saline Beach and St. Jean.

While we sat on the beach enjoying the view ... those Europeans are very free with sharing the birthday suit look. Looks ok on some and a bit funky on others. Anyway, pealing our eyes off the sites - we knocked off a couple good books and practised our French. Boy can we order a heck of a jambon due fromage croissant. We Merci'ed, Bonjour'ed, Bonsoir'ed, and sil vous plait'ed our way all over that mountainous island - like no one has ever done before.

Chez Andy - The Hideaway welcomed us the first night and saw us off the last. The owner "Andy" was some smarty pants from England introducing himself as Roger. I only found out just now that he was the real Andy in the flesh. Anyone planning a trip to St. Barth should surely plan a visit to meet Andy, make a great night of it and enjoy the sweet and silky Vanilla Rum.

Counting down the days 'til we return.
